It’s that time of year again for us in the States, Halloween! Some of you might all ready know that I’m a big fan of horror movies, and this holiday allows me to get extra dark and creepy with the Slighter project.
In previous years I’ve crafted mix-tapes of my favorite bits for everyone to download and stream, but last year I tried something different. I wrote “Last Pulse” as a free song to give away during Halloween, and the response was better than I had for the mix-tapes! Continuing this new tradition, I bring you another Slighter original free download, this time “Outbreak” draws influence from a Zombie outbreak with a more musical crescendo that would make John Carpenter proud. And who knows, it might even Return the Living Dead to their graves!
